Olga Peretyatko began her career in the children’s choir at the Mariinsky Theatre, Saint Petersburg. In 2002 she left Russia to study at the The Hanns Eisler University Berlin with Brenda Mitchell. She completed her studies as part of the Hamburg Opera Studio and was also a member of the Academie at the Festival International d’Aix-en-Provence.
She gained her first profession experiences as a member of the Hamburg State Opera singing such roles as Barbarina, Oberto (Alcina), Jano (Jenufa), Giannatta (L’Elisir d’Amore), Papagena.
Summer 2006 saw her take part in the Accademia Rossiniana in Pesaro where she sang Corinna and La Contessa di Folleville (Il Viaggio a Riems) under Alberto Zedda’s direction. In November 2006 she recorded La Donna del Lago again under Alberto Zedda’s direction and she returned with outstanding success to the Rossini Opera Festival Pesaro this summer to sing Desdemona in a new production of Otello alongside Juan Diego Florez and Gregory Kunde.
In June 2007 she was awarded the second prize at Placido Domingo’s ‘Operalia’ singing competition.
November 2007 sees Olga make her Paris debut at the Theatre des Champs Elysées singing Anne Trulove in The Rake’s Progress.
Her repertoire also includes Adele (Fledermaus), Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos), both Konstanze and Blondchen, (Entführung aus dem Serail), Gilda (Rigoletto) and Olympia (Les Contes d’Hoffmann)
